What brought you to work at Presidio?
The second I walked in for my interview with Presidio I knew that I was dealing with an incredible group of people. The staff greeted me with smiling faces and although I was nervous, they were easy to talk to. After the interview, I realized that I wanted to join the team immediately.
What’s the most fun thing about your position so far?
The most fun thing about my position so far is learning about the company. Before Presidio I had some knowledge of insurance and zero knowledge about Mal Practice Insurance. After the first couple of days, I quickly realized that I find insurance, in general, to be quite interesting, which is makes the learning process fun. On top of this, the team was easy to get along with and the environment was inviting and for the first time, I found myself actually excited to show up to a job.
Do you have any hobbies that occupy your time outside of work?
I love to be outside and go running, camping, backpacking, fishing, etc. Basically, any activity outside that makes me feel at peace and accomplished attracts my attention.
Who’s your greatest advocate, and why?
My greatest advocates would be my parents. They are constantly supporting me with everything I do. They have been there for me since the day I was born and their love and care for me has only increased. If I am ever doubting myself they seem to always say the right things and never fail to help me in any aspect of my life.
If you could have a Starbucks drink named after you, what would be in it?
First of all, coffee is the best. Second, I am a pretty simple guy, so if there was a drink called “The Grant” it would also be simple. It would come as either hot or cold, and essentially just coffee with Silk Vanilla Creamer!
What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned in life?
It is imperative to forgive, but not forget.
