One of our areas of expertise is obtaining coverage for Medical Spas -- facilities which provide both traditional and nontraditional medicine and spa treatments. Facilities in Texas whose medical programs are run under the strict supervision of a licensed health care professional are eligible for special rates and coverage.
Policies to protect Med-Spas can be purchased by those who host the Cosmetic/Medical Services or by the doctor, nurse, aestheticians or anyone who can legally operate within their state.
WE INSURE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING UNDER OUR MED-SPA PROGRAM:
Lasers, IPLs, and LEDs; Dermal fillers: Restylane, Scupltra, Radiesse, Juvederm, etc.; Botox; Mesotherapy; Sclerotherapy; Medical Strength Peels; Microdermabrasion; Permanent Cosmetics; Laser Hair; Lipodissolve (additional premium required).
Physicians performing aesthetic med procedures in addition to their traditional medical practice may qualify to add the procedure to their current malpractice policy.
As you can see, we know the market, and are working to reduce your premiums all across Texas. Give us the opportunity to show you how much you can save. You'll be glad you did!
Disclaimer: This is not a premium indication, premiums will be determined on a case by case basis. Discounts will not apply to all applicants. *Application and acceptance of coverage by underwriting is required. All information is deemed reliable but not guaranteed.
Do I Need Medical Malpractice Insurance For my Medical Spa?
Medi-spa procedures carry the same risk of litigation as any other medical procedures. Additionally, the general public believes medi-spa treatments are risk-free due to their aesthetic nature and because they are performed in a spa-like setting. Often lawsuits are filed when patients are angered by negative outcomes theybelieved would not occur during medi-spa procedures. In addition.
- Many physician and RN liability policies will not cover medi-spa procedures
- Defense costs for a malpractice lawsuit easily exceed $25,000
- Medi-spa related verdicts can and have exceeded $1,000,000
- Medical Spa coverage provides protection and peace of mind for owners, practitioners, and medical directors
What does it cover and what does it cost?
Medi-spa medical malpractice policies provide coverage
